Your profile and account

Your credentials, documents, ID card and settings — and what needs an admin to change.

The Me tab
Me is your personal record — "Your ID card, profile and credentials."
  • My credentials — add your own licences and certifications: "An administrator reviews each one before it counts." You can edit or remove one while it's still Pending review; once approved it counts towards jobs that require it, and Maliru reminds you before it expires.
  • My documentsSubmit a document (right to work, driving licence and similar) and Read & sign anything waiting for your signature.
  • Digital ID card — if your workspace has it enabled: your check-in code and a shareable card. "Your documents are never shared and your credentials are never listed" — a scan only shows the card's details and whether your clearances are in date.
What you control yourself
  • Notification preferences — web: account menu → Notification settings; mobile: Me → Settings → Notifications. (See Notification preferences.)
  • Appearance (field app) — Me → Settings → Appearance: Match my phone, Light or Dark. "Dark mode is easier on the eyes in a cab at night, and on your battery."
  • Your credentials and documents, as above.
What needs an admin
  • Your name, email, job title and photo are edited on your user record by someone who manages users.
  • Your phone number can't be changed — it's your sign-in identity: "This is the worker's sign-in number and can't be changed here." A new number means your admin sets you up fresh and retires the old record.
  • Your access and permissions — only an admin can change these, and nobody can escalate their own.
Companies, signing out
  • Switch company (account menu on web) — if you belong to more than one workspace, all your memberships are listed; pick one to switch. "Join another with its invite or join link to switch between them here."
  • Sign out — account menu (web) or Me → Settings (mobile). Signing out also stops the phone receiving that workspace's notifications — worth doing before handing a device to someone else.
Tip: keep your credentials current in Me — an expired ticket can flag (or block) your assignment to jobs that require it. Maliru warns you 30 days out by default.
