Managing clients

Hold the clients your jobs belong to — their contacts, code and status — and archive without losing history.

Clients are who your work is for"Clients carry the requirements their jobs inherit." Manage them in the Clients section.
The list
Clients shows each client's Name, Code, Contact, Email and Status (Active or Archived). Search by name, code or contact.
Adding a client
Add client captures Name (required), Code, Contact name / email / phone, and Notes. On an existing client, an Active toggle lets you archive it — "Archived clients remain in existing jobs."
How clients flow through
Clients are referenced across the app:
  • Jobs — a job's Client picker shows only active clients, so archived ones never clutter new work (but stay attached to the jobs they were already on).
  • Sites — a site can belong to a client, and the schedule warns if you pick a site whose client doesn't match the job.
  • Commercial — rate cards and contracts are per client.
Tip: archive rather than delete a client you've stopped working with — the record stays linked to its past jobs and reports, and it simply drops out of the pickers for new work.
