Welcome to Maliru
One workspace for field operations — jobs, scheduling, field capture, compliance and the audit trail behind it all.

Maliru runs field operations end to end: the office plans and dispatches work, the field crew sees it on their phones, captures proof as they go, and everything lands back in one auditable record.
Two experiences, one workspace
- The office workspace — on a laptop or any wide screen. Jobs, Schedule, Clients, Forms, Users and the rest live in the left navigation; the Dashboard opens with what needs your attention.
- The field app — on a phone, field workers get a focused experience: Today, Work, a central Capture button, Chat and Me. No admin clutter, built for a day on site.
Which one you see follows your role and your screen: field workers on phones get the field app; owners and office admins get the workspace. Supervisors with management permissions can flip between the two (Field view / Admin view).
The modules
Everything is included — you choose what appears. Under Global settings → Modules: Jobs & work orders, Scheduling & dispatch, Clients & contracts, Sites & locations, Fleet & vehicles, Assets & equipment, Authorizations, Forms & inspections, Defects & issues, Evidence & audit trail, Time & timesheets, Commercial & billing, Workforce records, and Communications & updates. Dashboard, Users and Settings are always on.
Turn off what you don't use and the navigation slims down to match. As onboarding puts it: "Pricing is based on user limits, not module access."
The shape of the data
A few ideas explain most of Maliru:
- Jobs are the core record — everything else attaches to them.
- Workstreams are your job types, each with its own fields, statuses and views.
- Shifts and routes put jobs on the schedule and into workers' hands, with confirmations built in.
- Forms, evidence and defects bring structured proof back from the field.
- The audit trail records who did what, when — automatically, everywhere.
Where to go next
- Setting up? Creating your workspace and Getting your team in.
- Office user? Finding your way around the workspace.
- On the tools? The field app at a glance.
And if you get stuck: the Help button opens this knowledge base, and Talk to support starts a chat with us — both in the top bar.
